Padma Narayan

“As much as possible, in every way, incessantly practice virtue”. These words from Thirukkural always inspire me to do service to society. Only the one who dedicates his life to helping others is truly born/ evolved.

During my childhood days, when my family was in need of financial support for my education expenses, I felt ashamed to ask others for it. But my mother always insisted that for noble actions you should not feel bad to ask for support, whether it is physical or financial. She also told me even by begging, you should get an education. Ultimately I have done my post-graduation and became a lecturer. Teaching is my passion also it is my way of service to our society. I feel that education is the foundation for the upliftment/development of society. So, I started taking classes for younger children and motivated them to pursue their hobbies. I volunteered in many NSS activities which mainly concentrate on village development.

I strongly believe that people who understand their culture& heritage and practice that right from childhood in their life will emerge as more successful people. During many unpleasant situations in my life, this helped me to bounce back. So, to understand and to gain more knowledge about this, I started learning Sanskrit, the language which is helping me to connect with everyone spiritually.

Swami Vivekananda rightly said that it is a privilege to serve mankind, for this is the worship of God. God is here, in all these human souls. We should make a daily prayer that everyone should get the basic needs in this world. BLF is giving us this opportunity to connect and serve the people who are in need of us.

II आरब्धम् उत्तमजनाः न परित्यजन्ति II

– Noble people do not give up what they have begun. We have just begun our journey. Let us join together and help the right people at the right time.

Welcome to the BLF family.
