The Smallest Act of kindness IS WORTH more than the GRAND INTENTION
Oscar Wilde
As a result of seeing so many underprivileged individuals in my early years, I became interested in helping people. I believed in not only providing financial assistance, but also in sharing whatever knowledge I had, offering ideas and discussing solutions to problems, and, most importantly, in training, educating, and enhancing individuals’ skill sets in order to help them obtain better job opportunities and become self-sufficient.
Mother Theresa was one of my idols, and her quote – “A helping hand is better than promising lips” inspired me. Another person I admired was the Great Kamraj, who was remarkable in his dedication to humanity and his simplicity.
My association with some of the organizations includes:
- Up until recently, I was actively involved with the global humanitarian organization Rotary International.
- Had volunteered with Unnati, a Bangalore-based NGO.
- I also volunteered as a member of our local welfare organization, where I held a key position.
- A regular member within the local municipality’s citizen forum.- I am honored to be a National Blind Association life member
- Volunteer in the Karnataka Government’s Covid Task Force.
As a travel professional, I’ve held very responsible jobs with a globally renowned travel firm based in Saudi Arabia, traveled widely, and have a broad understanding of other cultures and people. A nature lover, actively involved in community efforts to increase greenery and revitalize lakes.
A Conscientiousness individual – What does matter is that no matter what is my personality type, I have the capacity to make a difference by getting involved. Yes, INVOLVEMENT is what matters most.
