PROJECT SAKHI
Women are inherently gifted with management skills, unconditional loyalty, and love for everything they put their heart to. Through Project Sakhi, we wish to facilitate economic empowerment and stability & improve women’s well-being. Our goal is to provide women with resources that enable them to be self-reliant, confident, and productive.
Bilaspur, Chattisgarh – May 2024
A huge shout out to Our Team Bilaspur, rather our one-woman army – Srividya Shankaran. Vidya has put her heart and soul into helping us get a great start on this project. Vidya’s impeccable design of the whole event is truly inspiring. We distributed 5 Sewing Machines to a voluntary organization “Shruti Jan Sansthan” at Bilaspur. The event was graced by Mr. AVS. Nehru and Ms. Yashoda Nehru, who are active members of the SatyaSai Seva Samiti doing selfless service to our society in many ways.
